Welcome!

We are an active, welcoming chess club in Edinburgh.

We are located at Slateford Bowling club, where we have access to a spacious playing hall.

As well as playing in the Edinburgh League, we are actively running club nights with club championship, lightning and social chess games available.

Corstorphine were again the visitors to compete for the Brian Wurr Memorial trophy.

Congratulations to Matt Rounds on drawing with Euan McDiarmid to win the championship with 5½/6.

Congratulations also to Stuart McKinney who has won the minor championship on tie break with 4/6.

Both teams did well in the final round of the SNCL but unfortunately both teams were relegated.
