Welcome!

We are an active, welcoming chess club in Edinburgh.

We are located at Slateford Bowling club, where we have access to a spacious playing hall.

As well as playing in the Edinburgh League, we are actively running club nights with club championship, lightning and social chess games available.

Two new club champions..

Congratulations to Charles Gunn-Russell on winning the championship on tie break with 5/6.

Congratulations also to Joe Harvey who has won the minor championship on tie break with 3½/6.

Allan McDiarmid wins the Spring Lightning for the first time.

We lost 3½ - 1½ against Queens Park in the semi final (first round!) of the Jack Campbell Rosebowl.
