We are an active, welcoming chess club in Edinburgh.
We are located at Slateford Bowling club, where we have access to a spacious playing hall.
As well as playing in the Edinburgh League, we are actively running club nights with club championship, lightning and social chess games available.
Spens Cup - loss against Queens Park

We lost 3½ - 1½ against Queens Park in the semi final (first round!) of the Jack Campbell Rosebowl.

Having lost 5 - 1 in the first fixture in December this was going to be a tough one with everyone outgraded and their board six higher rated than our board two!
Finished with a well earned 3 - 3 draw.
