Four games played in round four of the club championship were completed.

Club Championship

Charlie gets his first point with a win against Derek.

João managed to exploit lack of safe spares for Sandy’s queen.

Euan and Ralph had a complicated struggle with exposed kings with major pieces still on the board.
In the end a draw was agreed with both players faced with risking losing to win.

Eric appeared to have an early advantage with an awkward black bishop on d3 square controlling the white squares.
In the end a queen check on the black squares picked up an unprotected rook and the game was lost for White.
