Two games in the third round of the club championship were played on Monday 3rd of February.

Eddie played well in his first competitive game against Simon. Despite being a pawn down entering the rook and pawn ending, Eddie played the ending very well and almost managed to turn the tables. In the end the position simplified and a draw was agreed.

The other game was played online with Richard Josey being still in the Canaries. Richard made a mistake in the opening, possibly wrong move order which Gerry was able to exploit and eventually win the game.

Marcel, Charles, Derek, Stuart and Crawford played some shorter ten minute games.
