We won 3-2 against Edinburgh West in the semi final of the Jack Campbell Rosebowl.

Martin beat Eric very quickly in the Traxler Attack - Martin knew the theory; Eric didn’t.
Tom won - I didn’t see much of this game but I think he simply ground his opponent down
Allan won - he was two pawns up in a double rook and minor piece endgame and snuffed out his opponent’s counterplay..
Charles was a couple of pawns up but in a time scramble both sides queened pawns and black was able to continue checking and a draw was agreed.
William’s game looked even throughout with his opponent have perhaps a slight advantage. A R&P endgame ensued and William was able to hold the position for a draw.
