Five first round games in the club championship were played on Monday 7th October 2024.
Two graded friendlies were played.
Club Championship
Marcel off and running with a win over Gerry Brown.
Isaac Boyd managed to salvage a tricky position by exploiting Black’s awkwardly placed king to secure a draw against Allan McDiarmid.
Unfortunately Pater Duckworth has had to withdraw so current champion Euan gets an easy full point bye in the first round!
