Euan plays for Scotland in Glorney Cup

Congratulations to Euan McDiarmid on representing Scotland in the Glorney Cup in July 2024.

This was a tough competition for the Scotland team with England winning the Glorney - Under 18 competition.

In Round 2 , Euan recalls that his opponent decided to sacrifice their queen with what they expected to be a forced checkmate. Unfortunately for them, this was not the case and a simple bishop retreat stopped the mate!
